THE BMI FILM, TV & VISUAL MEDIA AWARDS 2021 - THE REPORT IS A WINNER!

Thanks so much to BMI for recognizing my score for The Report, this beauty arrived in the mail this morning! Not only is this my first BMI Award, it’s the first award I’ve ever won for music I’ve created, period, and given how immensely helpful and resourceful they have always been for me since the start, it’s only fitting that it would be from BMI. From literally the very beginning, BMI was there for me (shout out to Antonella DiSaverio!) when I literally had no idea what a performance royalty even was, and she and then many more walked me through everything I needed to know every step of the way with the utmost patience, not just on that first film but over the next several years as well as I slowly began to develop something resembling a career. So it's super gratifying to receive this from them after all they’ve done for me for over 20 years going now...here’s to another 20!
